The concept behind our CD “rowboating” could be described as “getting back to our roots”. This CD was about getting back to longer more ambient song forms. There was also some thought given to having pieces we could play in a live setting without relying heavily on backing tracks. Most of the tracks on this CD have little or no pre-composed backing tracks and are primarily a result of a live collaboration. This approach has given the overall CD a relaxed, almost meditative feeling.
